Version Compatibility

All API changes maintain backward compatibility within major versions. We follow semantic versioning:

• Major versions (v1.x, v2.x) may include breaking changes
• Minor versions (v1.1, v1.2) add features without breaking changes
• Patch versions (v1.1.1, v1.1.2) include bug fixes only
